Are you hydrating? Adequate water intake improves athletic performance 🏋🏻‍♀️, body temperature regulation 🌡, metabolic function, and endocrine gland and liver function. Water also helps maintain blood volume, distribute nutrients throughout the body, and alleviate fluid retention.

Another great thing about water? It helps reduce CRAVINGS. When I'm dehydrated, all I want is sugar (usually in the form of Dr Pepper) or salty chips. Um yeah, no 🙅🏻 I make sure I always carry a bottle with me and I have noticed a night and day difference in my cravings because staying hydrated helps me pay attention to my body's true hunger signals. It's done wonders for my skin, and I feel fresh and don't have that yucky greasy feeling I used to always have when I ate a ton of junk and drank lots of soda.🥤

My daily water goal is 2 liters PLUS the La Croix I drink as a treat. I use an app called Waterlogged to track it! My biggest tip is to start the day with a bottle. I love to have an entire bottle (the one pictured is half a liter) with my morning coffee ☕️ to get me started for the day.
