Hi! I'm Kailey, a Los Angeles-based writer, photographer, and group fitness coach.
I'm the managing editor and writer for the Goodnewspaper, a quarterly print newspaper that celebrates the people, ideas, and movements that are changing the world for the better.
Since 2011 I've created custom photo content for some of the nation's most recognized brands including The Huffington Post, Chipotle, EOS, Coppertone, Smirnoff, Visa, Purina, Chase Bank, Zipcar, Siggi's, and Bud Light. I'm honored to help brands tell their stories through custom imagery for their sites and social media channels.
My background includes a bachelor's degree in journalism with a minor in women's and gender studies from The University of Texas. It was during college that I first embraced a balanced, whole-health perspective through exercise and nutrition after identifying habits that led me away from emotional and physical health.
I wanted to help others enjoy this same mind-body transformation, so I obtained my personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2017. I now coach group fitness classes at Orangetheory Fitness in Los Angeles.
