New York City-Based Psychotherapy

pleased to meet ya! I’M KAILEY.

I’m a lot of things (psychotherapist, foodie, runner), but most importantly, I’m a real, human person who is in a constant state of growth, learning, and transformation. I am committed to doing my own inner work and supporting others in doing theirs.

I’m motivated by the opportunity to support others in their growth journey and to provide a safe space for self-discovery. Witnessing clients unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and attain greater well-being is a profoundly rewarding experience that I don’t take for granted.

I view therapy as a collaborative effort between myself and my clients. My clients can count on me for an honest relationship. They know where I stand, can trust me to be real with them, and know that they matter to me.

I bring my entire self — all of the messy, silly pieces — into therapy and I want you to know that you get to be your whole self, too. Our work together will create space for vulnerable moments, profound realizations, uninhibited emotions, and — most likely — periodic belly laughs.

When I’m not seeing clients, you can catch me checking out a local wine bar, catching up on Bravo shows (my non-guilty pleasure), or listening to live music.

MY CORE VALUES

intentionally INCLUSIve

Regardless of who you are or how you identify, you are not just welcome here: You belong.

I'm committed to dismantling discrimination, stigma, and oppressive structures in the mental health field and addressing internalized biases to ensure my path as a therapist promotes healing rather than harm. I actively confront issues like racism, classism, queer/trans-phobia, and fat-phobia, fostering collective healing and dismantling historical traumas.

ANTI-RACIST

In and beyond therapy, I'm committed to anti-racism. Recognizing my privileges, I actively examine and own my biases. Embracing discomfort as a catalyst for change, I seek correction, healing, repair, and growth, understanding that defensiveness and avoidance perpetuates oppression and harm. Through open dialogue and continuous education, I'm committed to challenging and dismantling systemic oppression while fostering understanding and empathy.

CULTURALLY HUMBLE

Each person is uniquely shaped by familial, cultural, and societal systems. Commitment to cultural humility not just a set of principles — it is an active, conscious, relational, and continuously evolving process.

Recognizing that you are the expert of your own culture and lived experiences, I actively seek to understand the cultural lenses shaping your worldview. Through ongoing self-reflection and learning, I foster an environment where your cultural identity is not just acknowledged but embraced.

Sex and Kink Affirming

I proudly affirm all expressions of sexuality and kink. My practice is a judgment-free zone where you can openly explore, discuss, and express your desires, preferences, and concerns without reservation (seriously, try to shock me). My practice is inclusive of those in non-traditional relationship configurations (polyamory, non-monogamy, etc.).

LGBTQ+ Affirming

Individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions are not just welcomed but embraced. Your unique journey, identity, and experiences are not only acknowledged but honored.
